Open the .dmg you downloaded

Double-click OwlMind-VPN-macos.dmg → drag the app to Applications

Right-click → Open (NOT double-click first time)

In Applications folder: Right-click on "OwlMind VPN" → Open → in the dialog click Open again. After this, double-click works normally.

If "blocked" message still appears

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → click "Open Anyway" next to OwlMind VPN.

💡 Why does this warning appear? macOS Gatekeeper requires Apple Developer ID notarization ($99/year). We're rolling out signed builds in v1.1. For now, the warning is just a one-time bypass — the app itself is the same secure binary, with PyArmor obfuscation and no telemetry.

Windows SmartScreen may block first launch. One click to bypass:

Double-click the downloaded file. Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" warning.

Click "More info" → "Run anyway"

In SmartScreen dialog click small "More info" link → button "Run anyway". Done — no future warnings.
